As mentioned in our previous post on the matter, we are interested in having the upcoming Gates of Tengoku (GoT) expansion be a community effort in many ways. To that end, we are pleased to announce that longtime L5R fan artist Bertrand Daine has offered to create some new pieces for GoT, as well as color some of his existing sketches for use on both previous and upcoming cards.
Old-school L5R players who remember the AEG forums may recognize Bertrand as "Utaku Kumanagai", who posted many a humorous card mockup and cartoon in his time. As can be seen from the examples, he has an attractive style and an eye for interesting details.
We look forward to Bertrand's contributions being some of the first among many who wish to contribute to the GoT expansion as we continue to work on it. Please see the original post for details and contact information if you or an artist friend you know are interested in contributing.
