Hello, all. Hope your New Year is going well. Normally, we feel it is only within our purview to issue updates, changes, and errata to cards specifically created by our project. However, a specific card from Siege: Clan War requires a technical errata to address an oversight that is causing unintended rules issues. As this card is legal in Onyx Edition, we feel it is necessary and appropriate to take these steps. We struggled with this decision, as it's acting outside of the scope of our original intent, but we are and remain committed to a healthy Onyx Edition environment.
As is currently written, Tadaka's second printed ability allows him to target cards such as Strongholds, Sensei, Holdings, and Winds, cards which he was not intended to be able to affect. Before our December updated restoring 'destruction immunity' to Sensei and Winds, he was able to destroy these cards. However, he is still, currently, able to destroy other cards such as Holdings and Rings. This is due to the omission of the word 'enemy' between 'target' and 'card'. So, effective immediately, Tadaka's second ability will read: "Earth Jade Unstoppable Battle: Tadaka casts Jade Strike. Bow a target enemy card. Destroy it if it is Shadowlands or has no attachments." This will restore Tadaka to his intended function, preventing him from targeting cards he was not meant to affect. This errata has also been added to his entry in the Oracle. Thank you.
